1. Choose WHO you will involve! 

Who would you like to invite to do something good together this season? Suggestions: 

• ask a local business to partner with you

• ask a group of friends or any group you are a part of (book club, bible study, etc) 

• ask your neighbors or co-workers

• ask your child’s sports team, band, or scout troop 

• ask your friends on social media 

Pro-tip: If you have a group who is passionate about one particular age, feel free to focus in on that age group! For example, a mom’s group might want to choose to purchase gifts for babies and toddlers, or a sports team might want to purchase sports gear and apparel for teens! 

2. Choose HOW you will host the drive. 

Do you want to host a PHYSICAL DONATION DRIVE or a DIGITAL DONATION DRIVE? 

Physical Toy Drive 

• ask permission to set up a toy drive collection in a business, school, other space or have donations delivered to your house. 

• print or email posters or signs provided below for your display, find a collection bin or receptacle. (use the graphics we have provided below or ask us for a custom graphic). - Promote the necessary information (what are you collecting, final date, etc) - Use the flyer provided. 

Digital Toy Drive: 

• The benefits of a digital drive is that you can invite anyone to participate, whether they are far or near! 

• Decide who and how you will promote your donation drive. Use social media, email or text to get others involved! 

• You can share our wishlist, or make your very own online list using Amazon, Target or another site. Items can be shipped directly to New City.

Hybrid Option: Looking for a team building or group activity for the holidays? Collect funds and shop for gifts together!

• You could also collect money or gift cards, then go on a shopping trip to purchase the gifts yourself, or with your group! 

• You could have an event to shop for donations and drop them off, or arrange for a pickup.

3. Invite others to join! 

Take some time to share what Gift Mart is all about (use the words and graphics we’ve provided) and ask them to help you make a difference by collecting toys and gifts! - Use the images provided to share on social media or via email. Get the word out! - Be sure to send reminders a few days before you are finished collecting. 

4. Drop off the Donations 

• Bring all donations to New City on or before December 19th. 

• If you would like to schedule a time for us to come pick up the donations or drop off donations, please contact us and we’ll arrange it. 

5. Optional: Come Volunteer at Gift Mart!

There are plenty of ways to help out the week prior and on December 20th!
