Gift Mart
Gift Mart is a store where our community can purchase affordable gifts for their children
on Saturday, December 20th, 10am-2pm at New City Church
Gift Mart provides three gifts in one:
1) gifts for children in our community
2) the gift of pride for an adult to provide for their family
3) all proceeds go directly to help other families in ABQ.
We believe parents and family members want to give gifts to their kids during the holidays no matter what means they have. This allows parents and family members the dignity to provide for their family. At Gift Mart kids and teens are busy with games, friends, food and fun while adults purchase gifts at a fraction of the cost (50-80% off retail).
We aim to serve 120 families this Christmas, and provide gifts for more than 250 children. In order to accomplish this we will need 1200 gifts!
We’re accepting new toys and gifts for children ages 0-16 years.
Shop & ship to us from our online wishlist, or purchase items wherever you prefer!
All items should be new and unwrapped.
Toys and Gifts should be valued between $10-30.
All donations can be delivered to New City between now and December 15th. The building is open during Sunday morning gatherings, and on Mon & Wed from 9am-2pm.
Donate Gifts
We have the opportunity to show love to hundreds this Christmas season. You and your family can be part of making it all happen!
This is a great time chance to gather friends or co-workers to do something for others! You can help us reach our goal of 1200 gifts, by hosting a donation drive. Ideas include involving your place of work or business, your kids sports team, your family, a group you are part of, or just your friends and neighbors!
You can host a physical donation drive, or even a digital donation drive using our online wishlists. Reach out with any questions.

Pick Up flyers to post around our neighborhood or share the digital invite with someone.
Sort and price donations leading up to the event. (Dec 15-19th, between 9am-1pm at New City)
Set Up the Gift Mart (Thursday, Dec 18th 9am - 11am)
Opportunities at Gift Mart on Saturday, December 20th:
Check-In and Welcome Team - welcome families, volunteers, and keep us organized
Kids Zone Christmas Party - organize games, crafts & hangout with kids and teens
Safety & Facility Team - ensure everything is running well behind the scenes, help carry out gifts
Hospitality Team - provide refreshments for guests and volunteers
Host Team - help adults shop and get to know them while they wait for gift wrapping
Gift Store Team - ensure our store is stocked and running smoothly
Gift Wrapping Team - wrap gifts beautifully and quickly
Photos with Santa - facilitate families getting their photos taken, upload digital photos to share after the event
Event Photography and Videography - Photos and video of the event, make a recap video
Take Down Crew - help reset after the event

Invite Someone to Shop
Invite a friend or community member to shop at Gift Mart. They can sign up for a time to shop. A personal invite goes a long way!
