What does Christmas look like at New City?

  • Gift Mart

    Gift Mart is a store where our community can purchase affordable gifts for their children.

    Gift Mart provides three gifts in one: 1) gifts for children in our community 2) the gift of pride for an adult to provide for their family 3) all proceeds go directly to help other families in ABQ. 

    At Gift Mart, kids and teens are busy with games, friends, food, and fun while adults purchase gifts at a fraction of the cost (50-80% off retail). We believe parents and family members want to give gifts to their kids during the holidays no matter what means they have.  This allows parents and family members the dignity to provide for their family.

  • Christmas Eve Gatherings

    We will be celebrating Christmas and Jesus’ coming to earth with two gatherings on December 24th, at 4:00pm and 6:00pm.

    All ages will worship together and we will enjoy a candlelight service as we celebrate the anticipation of the coming of Jesus. After each gathering, there will be sweets and hot chocolate available.

    Activity bags will be provided for children attending. 

    Invite your family, friends, and neighbors to New City on Christmas Eve! 
    Come as you are - no perfect people allowed!

  • Jingle Jam

    ✨ Jingle Jam – A Celebration Big Enough for the Whole Family! 

    Join us on Friday, December 5 from 6–8pm for an unforgettable holiday experience! 

    Expect interactive games, music, laughter, and a powerful telling of the Christmas Story that will inspire hope this season. After the main event, stick around for our After Party—complete with food, festive games and activities, music, candy, prizes, and so much more! Your whole family will enjoy this night and make some holiday memories together.

    Best of all? It’s totally free!

    Bring your family, invite your friends, and get ready to make memories together. Teens and adults are welcome to volunteer or simply come and enjoy the celebration.

Advent Guide

Advent is a season of waiting that points not only back to Jesus’ birth, but forward to his return. It reminds Christians that the same Jesus who came once in humility will come again in glory to make everything new and set all things right.

Join us at New City to pick up your Advent Guide - a small booklet written by a group of volunteer leaders to walk your family through a brief study and reflection on Hope, Peace, Joy, Love, and Christ throughout the month of December.

As a special addition, this year’s Advent Guide includes many favorite family recipes! Join us in the fun by submitting your traditional Christmas recipes!
