Kids’ City
Each Sunday, the smallest of regulars and welcomed guests will experience worship and teaching in a safe and interactive environment. From infants to 5th grade, kids will sing, learn, and play, all while still being kids.
Kids’ City Mission Statement:
Kids’ City exists to supplement the family by laying a Biblical foundation in kids’ hearts, constantly pointing kids to Jesus Christ, and helping them to develop into followers of Him.
Kids’ City Core Values:
1. Kids’ City is spiritually, emotionally, and physically safe.
2. Kids’ City is fun and makes the Bible come to life.
3. Kids’ City is relevant and age-appropriate.
4. Kids’ City partners with parents to assist them as their child’s first and most important Bible teacher.
About
- WiggleWay (infants-2 years): These little ones learn Bible stories, sing songs, and play in a nurturing environment.
- JumpStreet (3 years-Kindergarten): Preschoolers explore Bible stories through creative storytelling in small groups and celebrating God through singing and dancing.
- Uptown (1st-5th grade): Elementary ages celebrate and learn about God in a large group environment and apply Biblical principles through small group discussion and activities.
Safety
- Every volunteer is background screened.
- Every room will always have a minimum of two volunteers in it.
- We are sticklers for security tags. You and your child receive a sticker with the same number printed on it. Your child will not be released without the corresponding sticker. Should you be needed during the service, we will post your child’s security number on the screen in the auditorium.
- Snack signs are posted on the classrooms every week to alert parents of potential allergy hazards. Kids’ City is a nut-free zone.
- All Kids’ City leaders are required to wear their name tags while working with children. No one without a name tag is allowed in the Kids’ City area.
- Kids’ City strives to maintain an adult to child ratio that is half of what the state requires.
- We ask that parents not bring their children to Kids’ City if they are sick.
