The Bible is divided into two testaments. The Old Testament anticipates the arrival of Jesus. The New Testament anticipates the return of Jesus. Another way of drawing a distinction between first and second testaments is to say the Old Testament contains the New Testament concealed and the New Testament contains the Old Testament revealed. What is revealed? Jesus is revealed. All throughout the Bible there is one theme that continues to dominate: "It's all about Jesus." Jesus is the point of the gospel. He is the gospel. In the 5 weeks of this series we will take a close look at the first chapter of Colossians and study the implications of a gospel that is all about Jesus.
