When the kids of Mission Ave. return to school in just a couple of weeks, we’d like to outfit many of them with a new backpack full of school supplies needed for the upcoming year. Currently, more than 80% of the children that attend Mission Ave. are on the free lunch program. Our team is currently seeking to have the backpacks donated by a major retailer. We would like to ask you, our New City Family, to donate school supplies. The following items are needed:
Notebook paper (wide-ruled) Pencils Composition books Crayons Colored pencils Washable markers Glue sticks Clorox wipes Kleenex We will collect all donations at both services on Sunday, August 4 and will deliver them to the school August 8 or 9.
